Privacy policy

DesignMixy is a design subscription service run by WeLoveIt Studio in Sri Lanka. This page explains what we collect when you use designmixy.com and the DesignMixy portal, why we collect it, who helps us process it and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022.
What we collect
- When you contact us or use a free tool (the contact form, the Design Cost Calculator, the Free Brand Check or the Design Calendar): your name, email, phone if you give it, your business name, your message, and what you entered in the tool.
- When you sign up: your name, email, phone, business name, the plan and billing period you chose, and whether you agreed to marketing emails or WhatsApp messages.
- When you use the portal: your brand kits, the requests and briefs you send, files you upload, messages with our studio, ratings, and the people you invite to your account.
- Payments: card payments are taken by our payment partner, payments.lk. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record of each payment (amount, date, plan, invoice number). For bank transfers we keep the payment record you send us.
- How you found us: the page and campaign that first brought you to the site (for example a Google or Facebook ad), kept in a first-party cookie.
Why we use it
- To run your subscription: create your account, take payments, deliver your designs and send account emails (login links, receipts, request updates, renewal and payment notices). These emails always come while you have an account.
- To answer enquiries and send what you asked for from our free tools.
- To send tips and offers by email, or messages on WhatsApp, only if you said yes. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can change your choice any time on your Profile page.
- To understand which pages and ads bring people to us, so we can improve the site, only if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, remember your cookie choice and remember how you first found us. With “Accept all” we also use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) and the Meta Pixel to measure visits and ad results. With “Essentials only” those don’t load. You can change your choice from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
Who helps us
- payments.lk: card payments and subscriptions.
- Brevo: sending our emails and keeping our email lists.
- Google and Meta: visit and ad measurement, only with your consent.
- AI brief writer (Growth Mix and Scale Mix): when you use it, the short description you type and your brand details are sent to an AI service to draft the brief. Nothing is sent unless you use it.
- Our web host, which stores the site and your files.
We don’t sell your information. Your files and briefs are seen only by our studio team working on your account.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, requests and files while you’re a client and for up to two years after you leave, so you can come back to your work. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. Enquiries we don’t hear back on are deleted after two years. You can ask us to delete things sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or stop us using it for marketing. Email hello@weloveitstudio.com and we’ll reply within 21 working days.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use what you’ve already given us, we’ll email account holders first.
